I had a brief fascination with drones.  I still have this drone but have not flown it for a couple of years. Amazing hobby but you have to get deeper into it than I am willing to go.  I may still buy a more updated drone but more for photography or video and not so much for any other reason.

OOf-da Tacos

Uff da  is commonly spelled: huffda, uff-da, uffda, uff-dah, oofda, ufda, ufdah, oofta, uf daa, or ufta.  If you have lived in Minnesota or parts of the Midwest you will hear this expression among the locals as an expression of sensory overload, astonishment, or dismay that started with Within Scandinavian-American culture. As Wikipedia states: "Uff da is an all-purpose expression with a variety of nuances, and covering a variety of situations. The expression has lost its original connotation, and it is increasingly difficult to specify what it means now in America."   

OOf-da Tacos has capitalized on this expression by using it as its gimmick for a unique food experience.  It is definitely not tacos as you would expect or something you would think of as Scandinavian.  When you are in the area and see the OOf-da Taco stand stop in and try them. 

Some of what the menu includes are:

OOf-da Taco

A specialty fried bread taco topped with seasoned ground beef,shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheddar cheese, sliced ripe olives & sour cream.

Elephant Ear

A fried bread treat glazed with melted butter, drizzled with frosting & sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and or powdered sugar.

Elephant Ear with Strawberries and Cream

A fried bread dough treat topped with Strawberries and non-dairy whipped cream.

Taco Salad

A bed of crushed tortilla chips, seasoned ground beef, a dab of nacho cheese, piled high with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheddar cheese, sliced ripe olives & sour cream.
